Business Policies & Procedures Team (“BPP Team”) is responsible for the management of various BOS Global Policies (such as Sales, Suitability, Investor Classification. Pricing, Best Execution, Product Due Diligence, Communications) and BOS Global Front Office Procedures which are critical to the BOS franchise.

We work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the Bank to implement changes to the Bank’s policies and procedures, with focus on FO efficiency, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and business enablement.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team who will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and change management of the Bank’s Sustainability framework and policy to ensure it remains aligned with business strategy and compliant with regulatory requirements. 

This role involves engagement with senior stakeholders across the three lines of defence in managing the policy and related change implementations. You will work alongside experienced professionals across the Bank (such as the Product teams, Risk, Compliance, and Platforms), shape and advance the Bank’s sustainability agenda, and lead sustainability initiatives that foster greater awareness of leading sustainable business practices and shape and advance the Bank’s sustainability agenda.

Main Duties:

  • Lead the development, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of the Bank’s Sustainability framework and policy.
  • Manage governance forums related to Sustainability framework and policy development and implementation.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments, emerging trends, best practices in sustainability; conduct impact assessments; and lead change implementation for the Bank’s Sustainability framework and policy.
  • Develop and implement tools, processes, and controls to ensure ongoing compliance with the Bank’s Sustainability framework and policy.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and manage user feedback to assess policy effectiveness and user experience.
  • Participate in audits, regulatory inspections, compliance testing, management deep dives, and reviews of past regulatory and audit findings related to the Bank’s Sustainability framework and policy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all three lines of defence (such as the Product teams, Platforms, Risk, Compliance, and Group Audit).
  • Support Management in strategic programs, initiatives, and management activities (as required).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree. Relevant professional certification(s) in sustainability will be an advantage.
  • At least 10 years in industry experience in sustainability, with at least 3 years in banking is preferred.
  • Familiarity of financial products, services, and processes will be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and client interfacing skills
  • Self-driven and confident, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment.
  • Persuasive and persistent, with a strong focus on execution and delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Well-organized, with experience managing senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity in building and/or using AI and data tools will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
