What you do
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented candidate to support the Global Corporate Banking Division’s operational governance, business management, and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as a central coordination point across Global Corporate Banking, Operations & Technology, Operational Risk Management, and International Offices to ensure effective governance, process efficiency, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
The role requires strong stakeholder management skills, project execution capabilities, and a solid understanding of corporate banking operations and risk controls. You will drive key division-wide initiatives, manage governance documentation, support service review forums, and coordinate operational activities across both Singapore and Overseas offices.
Business Management & Strategic Initiatives
1. Coordinate and drive division-wide operational improvement initiatives.
2. Support implementation of regulatory and market-driven initiatives, including industry reforms.
3. Lead cross-functional projects/initiatives involving Front Office, Operations, Technology, and Risk teams.
4. Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend automation or efficiency enhancements.
5. Facilitate discussions between Banking business units and support functions to implement strategic initiatives
Service Review & Document Management
1. Serve as custodian of division-wide governance documents, policies, procedures, and operating manuals. Ensure timely review, update, approval, and communication of these documents.
2. Coordinate Quarterly Service Review Meetings with Operations and business support functions and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Service Level Indicators (SLI).
3. Prepare management dashboards and performance reports.
4. Track and escalate service issues, operational risks, and remediation plans.
Risk, Control & Regulatory Support
1. Support risk and control governance within the Corporate Banking Division.
2. Monitor adherence to operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
3. Coordinate issue remediation and management action plans arising from audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
1. Identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and opportunities for automation or process enhancement.
2. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and service quality.
3. Promote best practices across business units and international offices.
4. Support the division’s transformation and operational excellence agenda.
International Office Support
1. Serve as liaison between Singapore and international offices for business and operations support matters.
2. Coordinate regional operational initiatives across overseas offices.
3. Ensure consistency of operational standards and governance across locations.
Who you are
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking or a related discipline.

Professional certifications in banking, risk management or project management will be advantageous.
Experience
-
6 to 10 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Middle Office, Business Management, Operations, or Banking Governance functions.

Strong understanding of corporate banking products, processes, and operational controls.

Experience managing cross-functional projects and regulatory initiatives within a banking environment.

Prior experience interacting with regional or international stakeholders is preferred.
Technical Knowledge

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
