As a Trade Finance Product Manager at OCBC, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of trade finance. How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to stay ahead of the curve in terms of market trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the bank to identify opportunities, digitize workflows, deliver client-centric solutions and drive growth across Singapore, our branches and subsidiaries. Your ability to analyze complex data, think strategically, and communicate effectively will be essential in driving success.

What you do

1. Own and drive the trade product agenda across Documentary Trade, Supply Chain Finance

2. Partner with Product Development/Technology teams to translate business requirements into platform enhancements, digitalization initiative, and system capabilities

3. Manage end to end product lifecycle: ideation, business case, launch, and post launch performance tracking

4. Ensure governance, policy compliance, and audit/regulatory readiness

5. Support senior product managers on regional initiatives, cross-border rollouts and product monitoring/controls

6. Support senior product managers in the development, governance and execution of Corporate Trade Risk Participation and Trade Asset Distribution, including the maintenance of product standards, legal documentation and operational processes.

7. Support senior product managers on product procedure renewals and pitchbook management

8. Support deal structuring and client solutioning for complex trade transactions

9. Drive process efficiency, STP improvements, and platform stability in collaboration with Ops and Tech

10. Act as primary product liaison for Sales/RM, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Risk and Finance on trade product matters

Who you are

  • A degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in trade finance/product management, or a related field

  • Good working knowledge and experience with Documentary Trade and Supply Chain Solutions, ie. letters of credit/collections, guarantees, receivables, payables and trade working capital

  • Experience working with technology/product development on platform and systems enhancement

  • Exposure to ASEAN and Greater China trade corridors is preferred

  • Exposure to regional/market awareness across APAC trade regulatory landscape

  • Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills and a commercial mindset with P&L/business case orientation

  • Have the ability to bridge business, product and technology conversations

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders

  • Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically
