What You’ll Do

 

Security Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and implement regional security strategies, standards, and procedures aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Establish and maintain security policies, guidelines, and governance frameworks.
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate policies, and industry best practices.

 

Physical Security Management

  • Oversee physical security operations across offices and critical facilities for all offices.
  • Manage access control systems, CCTV, intrusion detection systems, visitor management, and security technologies.
  • Lead security design reviews for new offices, relocations, and facility upgrades.
  • Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.

 

Crisis Management & Business Continuity

  • Develop and maintain crisis management and emergency response plans.
  • Lead regional incident response and coordinate investigations involving security breaches, workplace violence, theft, fraud, and other security-related incidents.
  • Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Coordinate emergency exercises, drills, and crisis simulations.

 

Regional Security Operations

  • Manage security service providers and guard force operations for all offices.
  • Establish security performance metrics and monitor service delivery.
  • Ensure effective incident reporting, escalation, and corrective action processes.
  • Provide security support for business travel and high-risk operations.

 

Investigations & Risk Management

  • Conduct or oversee internal investigations relating to security incidents and policy violations.
  • Monitor geopolitical, crime, and emerging security risks affecting regional operations.
  • Provide risk intelligence and security advisories to senior management.
  • Develop mitigation strategies for identified threats.

 

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Facilities, People & Culture, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders on security matters.
  • Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, government authorities, landlords, and external security partners.
  • Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees and management.

 

Budget & Vendor Management

  • Manage regional security budgets and ensure cost-effective deployment of resources.
  • Lead procurement and management of security systems, equipment, and service providers.
  • Review vendor performance and negotiate contracts where appropriate.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional security certifications such as CPP, PSP, PCI, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, or equivalent are preferred.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive security management experience, including at least 5 years managing security programs across multiple APAC countries.
  • Proven experience in corporate security, facilities security, risk management, crisis management, and investigations.
  • Experience managing security operations in a multinational corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of security regulations, cultural considerations, and operational challenges across APAC markets.
  • Experience managing security vendors, contracts, and budgets.

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with access control, CCTV, visitor management, and security technologies.
  • Knowledge of business continuity planning and emergency response.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel regional offices as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management systems.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting technology, financial services, telecommunications, data centre, or professional services environments.
  • Experience in executive protection and travel risk management.
  • Familiarity with ISO 31000, ISO 22301, and security risk management frameworks.
