The Quality Assurance Manager/ Engineer, Mobile Access Engineering, reports to the Senior Director, Mobile Access Engineering and plays a key role in assuring the quality, compliance and delivery readiness of mobile network rollout, upgrade and modernisation projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a quality-driven engineering professional to shape network delivery standards, work across a diverse stakeholder landscape and contribute to reliable, high-performing mobile connectivity.

 

Make an Impact by:

  • Lead quality assurance activities for Mobile RAN rollout, upgrade and modernisation projects to ensure delivery meets defined engineering, operational and acceptance standards.
  • Establish, implement and continuously improve quality processes, checklists and governance controls across project execution and site acceptance activities.
  • Conduct quality reviews, audits and validations on project deliverables, site readiness, installation standards and documentation completeness.
  • Identify quality gaps, non-conformances and delivery risks, and drive timely corrective and preventive actions with internal teams, vendors and contractors.
  • Partner closely with engineering, project, operations and vendor teams to ensure consistent application of quality standards throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Track, analyse and report key quality metrics, recurring issues and improvement opportunities to support management decision-making and delivery excellence.
  • Support vendor quality management, including performance reviews, issue resolution and adherence to contractual and technical requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements and workplace safety practices while championing a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

 

Skills for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in mobile network quality assurance, implementation, deployment or project delivery.
  • Good understanding of Mobile RAN deployment, site implementation practices, quality controls and acceptance processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues, identify root causes and drive practical resolution across cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage internal teams, vendors and external partners.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and maintaining a high standard of quality and execution.
  • Experience in quality audits, site acceptance, vendor management or continuous improvement initiatives will be an advantage.
