Be part of a team that plays a critical role in managing the bank’s balance sheet, funding, and liquidity position. As an Asset Liability Management (ALM) Intern within the Collateral, Funding & Repo team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on initiatives that leverage data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • AI & Analytics Innovation: support the enhancement of Asset Liability Management analytics through the use of AI tools, Microsoft Copilot, and intelligent agents
  • Data Analysis: analyse funding, collateral, and balance sheet-related data to generate insights and support business decision-making
  • Process Automation: assist in automating and improving existing daily processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • AI Use Case Development: explore and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI and automation technologies to address business needs and improve workflows
  • Reporting & Visualisation: support the development of dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that provide insights into business performance and operational metrics
  • Process Optimisation: review current workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend enhancements to strengthen operational effectiveness
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: work closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and support the implementation of data-driven solutions
  • Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on strategic initiatives, digital transformation projects, and other assignments as required

Who You Work With

The Asset Liability Management – Collateral, Funding & Repo team is responsible for supporting the bank’s funding, liquidity, and balance sheet management activities. You’ll work alongside professionals who manage critical treasury functions and partner with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Technology, and Global Markets. Through this role, you’ll gain valuable exposure to how data, analytics, and technology enable effective balance sheet management within a leading financial institution.
