How You will Make An Impact:
- Responsible for operation of Singtel Pipe Planning, Laying, Operation and Maintenance work for Common Duct Network.
- Able to work with various stakeholders, such as contractors, agencies and authorities:
- Ensuring project schemes, material vouchers, job completion reports are issued and submitted timely.
- Updating and keeping track of the contractor’s progress report.
- Verification of contractor’s job completion and claims.
- Assist contractors whenever they encounter difficulties on site.
- Proposing alternatives to solve infrastructure issues.
- Conduct/attend site meetings with externals parties (contractors, agencies, authorities, etc.) to discuss alternative solutions and obtain approvals.
- Assess construction plans and site conditions to identify potential clashes and recommend practical mitigation measures.
- Will be required to be activated after office hours when necessary to rectify faults related to consumer services.
- Progressively update direct supervisor on daily work assignment and update relevant documentation.
Skills for Success:
- ITE/ Diploma certification in Engineering/Telecommunications or in relevant field.
- At least 2 years’ working experience.
- Class 3 driving license would be an advantage.
- Able to work during non-office hours on an occasional basis and be on 24 x 7 hours standby alert for ad-hoc faults.
- Good working knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of civil drawing review and AutoCAD drawing.
- Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player.
