How You will Make An Impact:

• Coordinate with government agencies, developers, consultants, contractors, utility owners and internal stakeholders on underground telecommunications infrastructure planning and project activities.
• Review development proposals, engineering drawings, utility layouts and construction plans to identify infrastructure conflicts and recommend practical engineering solutions.
• Monitor project schedules, construction progress, quality and safety requirements, and support the resolution of site and technical issues.
• Review excavation and construction proposals to assess potential impact on existing underground telecommunications infrastructure and recommend appropriate protection measures.
• Conduct site inspections, meetings and acceptance checks, and verify completed works against approved designs.
• Review and validate as-built drawings, construction records and GIS data to maintain accurate infrastructure records.
• Prepare technical reports, project updates, engineering assessments and management presentations.
• Coordinate contractor claims, variation requests and technical documentation where required.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for GIS and other engineering systems.
• Perform other reasonable duties related to the role.

Skills for Success:  

• Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Ability to read and review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with government agencies, contractors, consultants and internal teams.
• Understanding of underground infrastructure planning and utility coordination would be advantageous
