We are seeking a detail‑oriented Business Analyst cum Application Tester to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation. The role involves gathering and analyzing requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring application quality through thorough testing across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders

Collaborate with business users to understand processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities

Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and User Stories
-
Conduct requirement reviews, walkthroughs, and validations with stakeholders
-
Act as a liaison between business, development, and testing teams
-
Support UAT planning, execution, and sign‑off
-
Manage requirement changes and perform impact analysis
Application Testing Responsibilities
-
Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements

Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing
-
Execute manual test cases and support automated testing where applicable
-
Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools
-
Validate fixes and ensure compliance with business and functional requirements
-
Ensure test coverage and quality standards are met before release
-
Support production releases and post‑deployment verification
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
-
5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Application Tester, or hybrid role
-
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience in requirement gathering and documentation
-
Hands‑on experience with manual testing

Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM)

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills

Experience with Manual functional Testing

Experience with automation tools Selenium
-
Knowledge of SQL and database validation
-
Exposure to API testing (Postman, SOAP UI)
-
Platform knowledge (Low Code Platforms, RPA and Data Tools)
