We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead the sourcing and category management of Data Centre Mechanical Cooling Systems across the region. The role is responsible for developing procurement strategies, driving cost optimization, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring supply continuity while partnering closely with internal stakeholders.

How You will Make An Impact:

Strategic Sourcing

• Develop and execute category strategies for mechanical cooling systems (e.g., Chillers, CRAC/CRAH, Fanwall units, Cooling Towers).
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFx, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations, TCO analysis, and contract management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through spend analysis and stakeholder collaboration.

Supplier Management

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance through regular business reviews and performance evaluations.
• Drive continuous improvement and supplier-led value creation initiatives.

Category & Procurement Management

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and governance standards.
• Analyze spend, market trends, and supply risks to support business decisions.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prepare category performance reports and provide insights to stakeholders.

Skills for Success:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement and category management, preferably within the Data Centre, M&E, Construction, or Industrial sectors.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and delivering measurable cost savings.
• Knowledge of Data Centre Mechanical Cooling Systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and e-sourcing platforms (e.g., iValua).
• Familiarity with procurement contracts and commercial negotiations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regional or global procurement roles.
• Background in M&E, construction procurement, or quantity surveying.
• Knowledge of construction contracts.
• Experience using AI tools to improve procurement processes and productivity.
