Job Description

  • Key responsibility of reviewing Account Opening documentation ensuring completeness. This may include reviewing any supporting KYC / Constitutional documents that may needed for more complex Account Openings.
  • Work with the Relationship Manager/Assistant Relationship manager in identifying any deficient documentation and support them in their follow-ups with the client.
  • Update data from source documents into the Bank’s Client Onboarding System
  • Monitor and follow up closely on outstanding documentation to ensure account opening documentations are submitted accurately and timely.
  • Work closely with Compliance to ensure policies and processes are aligned with latest regulatory requirements.
  • To support implementing a controls framework within the function. This includes identifying key risk areas and implementing periodic controls to mitigate any static errors. This also entails involvement in remediating any identified errors and working closely with the RTB teams to refine and enhance processes.

Work Experience & Requirement

  • Similar experience in private banking or retail banking.
  • Candidates with minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity and who has displayed keenness in developing a career in Account Documentation Review.
  • Meticulous and detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively as part of the team.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
