Our Deals Advisory Practice helps businesses realise the potential of their mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and capital markets with a global network of industry experts coupled with data-driven insights. We are seeking a Senior Associate level person to join us in our Merger & Acquisition Operation.
A career within Delivering Deal Value services, will provide you with the opportunity to help clients achieve maximum value on their deal transactions by solving transformational and complex challenges. We focus on all operational aspects of a transaction, pre and post completion. We conduct pre deal and confirmatory due diligence, execute large scale enterprise wide integrations, and support complex divestitures and separations on a wide range of functional areas such as Information Technology, Operations, Human Capital and other Backoffice functions.
How will you value-add?
As a Senior Associate (M&A Operations), you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

Work directly with private equity investors & corporate C-suite

Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

Handle roles ranging from pre-deal due diligence, value creation lever assessment to post-deal taking control

Experience in carve-out and post-merger integration, finance and operations process improvement, financial and business due diligence and business plan review.
About you

Bachelor’s degree or above from a reputable university
-
2 -5 years experience in M&A or Divestitures, including pre-deal due diligence, integration planning, separation planning, synergy and cost savings analysis, post-deal transformation

Strong understanding of operating models, products and services. Experience in business or data migrations is a plus

Able to quickly assess the performance of a business (or elements of it) and outline improvement opportunities based upon limited information and/or interactions with stakeholders

Able to quickly understand large amounts of information and draw out hypotheses and key messages

Strong project management skills and stakeholder management skills

Strong analytical skills with good understanding of financial results

Good interpersonal skills and able to quickly develop effective working relationships

Good verbal and written communication skills, story teller.
