What will you do?

 

  • Partnering with Corporate Function Leaders to support the FP&A function and providing advisory to operational matters in relation to financial planning, reporting and analysis.
  • Preparing monthly P&L for Global Corporate Centres (eg. Finance, IT, People & Culture, etc). 
  • Analyse the expenses recorded in SAP and group them into a summary table by nature, uniquely designed for each centre. 
  • Being responsible for monthly management reporting of the actuals and providing analysis on the performance of the Global Corporate Unit, including explaining the MTD/QTD/YTD variances against budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • Provide commentaries in the WD4 review slides for review with Finance, Director on major and key variances. 
  • Partnering with respective Global Corporate Leaders in formulating the annual budgets, evaluating justification of any expense increases, and assisting with the budget submission through the BPC system (Enterprise Performance Management “EPM” tool). 
  • Managing the Budget and Forecast of the corporate unit, including working with Corporate Leaders to ensure accuracy of the monthly forecast and capex spending. 
  • Track PO raised in SAP system ensuring cost is recorded promptly and forecast are accurate. 
  • Providing quarter submission of Opex and Capex forecast for Corporate Units through BPC. 
  • Managing key stakeholders’ expectations on financial matters within the Corporate Functions and ensuring timely communication to Corporate Leaders on financial issues with clear analysis and reports on relevant operating and financial metrics. 
  • Evaluate cost efficiencies of corporate functions and provide financial analysis to Corporate Leaders and Finance Management to highlight on areas of potential risks and upsides, plus attending to their queries. 
  • Any other tasks assigned. 
 

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy / Finance-related studies.
  • Min 5 years of relevant working experience in financial analysis and management reporting.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Applications esp. Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP and / or BPC software will be an advantage. 
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
  • Good understanding of accounting standards.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. 
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities and ability to work independently. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
