Why Join
We are seeking a motivated Project Management Officer (PMO) to support the delivery of strategic initiatives and business transformation projects within Global Corporate Banking. PMO will work closely with business, operations, technology, risk, and compliance teams to coordinate project activities, track progress, manage risks and issues, and support successful project implementation and GCB’s ADD journey.
What you do
Project Coordination & Delivery
1. Coordinate project activities and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
2. Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, escalating where appropriate.
3. Support project governance processes, including meeting coordination, documentation, and reporting.
Stakeholder Management
1. Liaise with business, operations, technology, risk, compliance, and external vendors to facilitate project delivery.
2. Organize and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and working group discussions.
3. Follow up on action items and ensure stakeholders are aligned on project objectives and timelines.
4. Prepare presentation materials and management updates for project committees and stakeholders.
Business & Process Improvement
1. Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and operational efficiencies.
2. Assist in the design and implementation of target operating models, including process standardization and automation initiatives.
3. Support ADD transformation initiatives involving process automation, straight-through processing (STP), workflow platforms, and digital onboarding solutions.
4. Support the implementation of new products, system enhancements, and process changes.
5. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), process walkthroughs, and business readiness activities.
Who you are
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, Banking, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Certification in Project Management, Agile, Scrum, or PRINCE2 would be an advantage.

3 to 5 years of experience in banking, financial services, consulting, or project management-related roles.

Experience supporting projects, business change initiatives, system implementations, or process improvement programs.

Exposure to Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, Operations, Client Onboarding, Lending, Trade Finance, or Cash Management is preferred.

Strong organizational and project coordination skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience with project management/AI tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar platforms is an advantage.
