Key Responsibilities:
Cybersecurity is no longer just an IT issue — it’s a business-critical, board-level priority that shapes how organisations build trust, manage risk, and grow with confidence.
As a Network Information Security (NIS) Intern at PwC, you’ll work alongside the Network Information Security (NIS) team, supporting member firms across the PwC network in implementing global security strategy, managing business risk, and strengthening cyber resilience. Your responsibilities will include:
-
Analyse member firm needs. Conduct analysis of member firm requirements to support informed decisions on the implementation of NIS global security strategy.
-
Assess threats and risks. Engage with member firm stakeholders to assess security threats and vulnerabilities and help manage business risk.
-
Coordinate cross-team support. Facilitate member firm support from Security Architecture, Engineering, Innovation, and Transformation (SAEIT) and Cyber Security Service Management across the NIS service lifecycle.
-
Track adoption and maturity. Assess service availability, adoption rates, and maturity to manage risk across business programmes and processes.
-
Support governance and compliance. Help govern member firms for compliance with PwC’s Information Security Policy (ISP) and applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
-
Review security controls. Engage with Global IT and Applications to review security controls against information security policy.
-
Embrace digital transformation. Use digital tools, dashboards, and AI-enabled platforms to enhance the efficiency and quality of governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
-
Learn from the best. Be coached and mentored by experienced practitioners committed to your growth, with access to PwC’s world-class learning environment.
What we’re looking for:
We welcome curious, motivated students who are excited to explore the world of cybersecurity at a global scale. Open to students from any discipline — what matters most is your curiosity, drive, and willingness to learn.
-
Open to students from any discipline at local or overseas universities — including (but not limited to) Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or Liberal Arts.
-
A genuine interest in cybersecurity and a curiosity about how organisations defend themselves at scale.
-
Diligent and willing to learn, with the ability to embrace on-the-job learning.
-
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
-
Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a sharp eye for accuracy and clarity.
-
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across functional and technical stakeholders.
-
Comfort navigating a matrix, multi-stakeholder environment, balancing business and central service perspectives.
