Job Summary

We are seeking a Vice President, Privileged Access Management (PAM) to lead the strategic direction, governance, and enterprise-wide delivery of PAM capabilities across the Group.

You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end operations, stability, and service delivery of Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms across the Group. This includes accountability for platform availability, operational resilience, incident management, and compliance with security and regulatory requirements. The role works closely with Engineering, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Risk teams to ensure PAM services are secure, reliable, and aligned with organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and manage PAM Operations and L2 Technical Support teams.

  • Accountable for 24×7 service availability and SLA adherence.

  • Drive team performance through:

    • Clear objectives, KPIs, and service metrics

    • Coaching, mentoring, and capability development

  • Ensure proactive risk identification and issue prevention.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

2. Platform Operations & Stability

  • Oversee daily operations of:

    • CyberArk (EPV, CPM, PSM)

    • Conjur Secrets Management

  • Ensure 24×7 production support model is effective and resilient.

  • Drive proactive monitoring and early detection of issues.

  • Lead major incident management and escalation handling.

  • Ensure root cause analysis is conducted with actionable remediation.

3. Change, Patch & Vulnerability Governance

  • Govern change management lifecycle (CAB approvals, implementation, rollback readiness).

  • Ensure timely and risk-prioritised PAM platform lifecycle and vulnerabilities remediation.

  • Ensure timely remediation of security vulnerabilities and audit findings.

  • Enforce secure configuration baselines and hardening standards.

4. Resilience, Availability & Recovery

  • Ensure PAM platforms meet enterprise resiliency standards (HA/DR).

  • Oversee:

    • Backup and restore processes

    • Replication health

    • Failover readiness

5. Operational Risk & Governance

  • Ensure PAM platforms comply with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations.

  • Track and drive remediation of audit findings, vulnerabilities, and control gaps.

  • Support risk assessments, control testing, and governance reporting.

  • Act as the point of escalation for risk and control issues related to PAM operations.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in technical support, cybersecurity or platform support. 

  • Experienced in regulated environments (banking preferred)

Technical Knowledge

  • 8+ years hands‑on with CyberArk EPV and/or Conjur secrets manager

  • Deep knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, Linux, networking, and cloud platforms.

  • Strong scripting capability in PowerShell and Python; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with monitoring/observability, SIEM integration, and performance tuning.

Skills

  • Multi‑tasking and prioritisation across operational demands

  • Independent, resourceful, and able to operate in a regulated environment.

  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration

Certifications (Preferred)

  • CyberArk Sentry, Guardian

  • CISSP/CCSP or equivalent.
