About Risk Services 
Our Risk Services Practice provides an invaluable safeguard in today’s complex operating environment with insights and independent assurance. We work with clients to deliver business control to help them to protect and strengthen every aspect of their business from people to performance, systems to strategy, business plans to business resilience. We help clients manage, mitigate and control risks from potential cybersecurity breaches to possible breaks in the supply chain. We assess and prepare businesses by looking into their technology, finance, data analytics, regulatory requirements, data security and privacy, internal audit, and the third parties our clients rely on, to help clients deliver quality results and meet their strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate, you’ll work alongside a team of problem solvers and subject matter experts to tackle complex business challenges from strategy through to execution. Your core responsibilities will include: 

  • Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking – Apply structured analytical approaches to dissect complex business issues, validate and interpret data, and craft insights that drive meaningful client decisions. 
  • Communication and Storytelling – Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messages – whether in a boardroom presentation, a client workshop, or a written deliverable. 
  • Continuous Learning and Adaptability – Embrace a growth mindset. Stay curious about emerging technologies, industry trends, and leading practices, and bring that thinking into everything you do. 
  • Collaboration, Client Relationship Management & Professionalism – Work effectively in diverse, high-performing teams while building trusted client relationships, and uphold strong standards of ethics, accountability, and integrity. 

 

What we are looking for 

  • We recognise that great talent comes from many different backgrounds. You don’t need to tick every box – possessing the majority of the qualifications below is desired, but not mandatory. 
  • Graduates in a bachelor’s or master’s programme in disciplines including (but not limited to) Accounting, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or Software Engineering. 

Technologies 

  • Generative AI, blockchain, and other frontier domains 
  • Cloud, application development, integration, and enterprise platforms (CRM, ERP, SCM, Billing) 
  • UI/UX (e.g. Figma) and intelligent automation/RPA (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere) 

 

Business Strategy and Delivery 

  • Project management methodologies and certifications (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2, APM, MoR, Agile, Scrum) 
  • Enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) 
  • IT Service Management frameworks (e.g. ITIL, COBIT) 

 

Data (Optional, but valued) 

  • Basic understanding of data structures, databases, processing, and governance (e.g. quality, security, architecture) 
  • Exposure to big data and cloud platforms (e.g. Cloudera, Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse) 
  • Familiarity with ETL, APIs, and data quality tools (e.g. Informatica, MuleSoft, SAS) 

Analytics (Optional, but valued) 

  • Understanding of analytical methods, machine learning, LLMs, and automation 
  • Exposure to data analytics, data science, or digital transformation projects 
  • Familiarity with BI/visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), databases, and programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python) 
  • Other tools/cloud platform knowledge and experience valued (e.g. Alteryx, GCP, Azure, AWS)
