About the Team

In financial operations at PwC, you will focus on managing financial processes and confirming compliance with regulations. You will handle tasks such as financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management.
About the Role
A career in PwC Southeast Asia Consulting internal finance team will give you the opportunity to position a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and gain regional and local finance exposure in the accounting field. In this role you’ll work on internal finance matters with the regional finance team across South East Asia as well as the local finance team in regard to monthly reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the regional and local Finance team in internal finance and accounting matters but not limited to:

Preparing monthly intercompany reconciliation files

Prepare monthly management account / pack for the entities assigned

Maintain AR movement file by updating cash collections and billing raised in timely manner

Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) movement files, tracking multi-currency cash collections and supporting regional billing processes.

Submit monthly motherfirm balances for SEAC HQ reporting

Maintain daily cash book with payment details and cash collections for cash flow planning
-
Maintain daily cash books and monitor cash movements to support regional cash flow planning and liquidity management.

Prepare monthly bank reconciliations

Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for corporate accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal financial reporting requirements.

Any ad hoc task as assigned

Assist with ad hoc international business operations, regional finance projects, and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
About You

Undergraduate students from local or overseas universities pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field

Proficient in Microsoft Word and advanced Excel functions (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) is required

Familiarity with basic computer programs is preferred but not mandatory

Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy, organization, and meticulousness

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines

Inquisitive mindset with a flair for innovation and creative thinking

Demonstrates a keen willingness and proactive attitude to learn and develop within the Internal Finance team
