How You will Make An Impact:

 

Support Senior Director, Technology Intelligence Unit (TIU) in identifying, assessing, and translating emerging technology trends into actionable insights for senior management and the Technology Advisory Council (TAC). Develop technology scanning activities and tools and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen Singtel’s enterprise technology sensing capability.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain AI tools to conduct continuous technology scanning across priority technology domains
  • Apply structured technology evaluation frameworks to prioritise technologies for monitoring, experimentation, partnership, investment, or adoption
  • Prepare regular technology briefs, landscape assessments, and insight papers to support decision-making by Singtel senior management and the TAC
  • Monitor technology, competitor, startup, and ecosystem developments, highlighting key opportunities and risks
  • Support the preparation of TAC meetings, including research, presentation materials, follow-up actions, and tracking of recommendations
  • Manage relationships with external research providers, technology partners, and innovation ecosystems to augment technology intelligence capabilities
  • Continuously improve technology sensing processes, AI-enabled workflows, and knowledge repositories

 

Skills for Success:

 

  • 7–10+ years of experience in technology strategy, innovation, consulting, corporate strategy, or technology research
  • Experience using AI-enabled research, analytics, or knowledge management tools would be an advantage
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies and digital trends, with the ability to assess business and commercial implications
  • Experience conducting market, technology, or competitive intelligence research and synthesising findings into executive-level insights
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technology topics clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment.
