You will work closely with senior management, the Group Data Office, IT, Group Risk Management and business units, with clear accountability for delivery outcomes and value realisation. This role is suited to a collaborative individual who combines strategic thinking, strong attention to detail and the ability to influence across disciplines.
What You Do
-
Translate priority AI use cases into well-defined AI agents and agentic workflows, with clear business objectives, ownership, success measures and control requirements.

Lead cross-functional teams across the Group CFO Office, Group Data Office, IT, Group Risk Management and business units to ensure successful project delivery.
-
Operationalise first-line AI governance across the AI lifecycle, including proportionate controls, human oversight, traceability, clear ownership and alignment with enterprise policies and second-line requirements.
-
Define delivery standards, project phases and production-readiness criteria, including evaluation frameworks that balance quality, risk, development time, cost and user experience.
-
Set baselines and own benefit tracking for productivity, cycle time, quality and control effectiveness, including post-implementation reviews and corrective actions where outcomes fall short.
-
Oversee production disciplines, including model and version management, change control, monitoring, incident management, fallback arrangements and decommissioning.
-
Drive sustained adoption, build AI literacy across departments within the Group CFO Office and embed repeatable delivery and governance practices.
Who You Are
-
A degree in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent practical experience.
-
Experience in financial services or Finance transformation, and exposure to Treasury, Balance Sheet Management, FP&A, Financial Control, Capital Management or Regulatory Reporting.
-
8 – 10 years of experience delivering complex initiatives from concept to production in a large, regulated organisation.
-
Strong practical understanding of generative AI, large language models, AI agents and agentic orchestration, with the ability to review solution designs and engage credibly with technical teams.
-
Working knowledge of AI evaluation, testing, security, privacy and responsible AI practices, and experience establishing delivery governance or production assurance for emerging technology in a regulated environment.
-
Ability to understand complex finance problems and translate them into executable solutions.
-
Strong written, verbal and influencing skills, with the ability to explain AI concepts, limitations and risks clearly, navigate ambiguity and lead without direct authority.
-
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
