Description of Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software distribution, operating system deployment, and patch management.
- Monitor SCCM infrastructure for performance and reliability, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Develop and maintain documentation for SCCM processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Conduct regular assessments of endpoint firmware vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of dynamic watermarking solutions to protect sensitive documents and make recommendations for improvements.
- Utilizing tools for automated deployment, such as Microsoft SCCM, Intune, JAMF, or similar solutions.
- Participate in EUS projects including Windows Image upgrades, Microsoft 365, MacOS optimisation, and implementation of virtual desktop environment.
- Develop processes for cloud migration, configure Intune Conditional Access and compliance policies for better endpoint protection.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents related to endpoint security, configuration management, and cloud services.
- Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery.
- Collaborate with IT teams, compliance, and risk management to ensure alignment on security policies and procedures.
- Implement and manage workplace technology and automation infrastructure to ensure stability and performance.
- Address audit findings by refining existing processes and/or endpoint compliance policies.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in endpoint security, cloud services, and configuration management.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing security processes, tools, and technologies.
- Providing technical support for desktop users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT and 5-7 years’ experience in end user computing and desktop engineering role within a Banking or FI industry.
- Strong, diverse technical skills, especially in the areas related to end user computing including desktop, Microsoft Office O365, MDM/Intune, SCCM, application packaging, Windows GPOs, Windows AD & Infrastructure domains
- Experience in developing reporting dashboard for hardware asset management.
- Strong, diverse technical skills, especially in the areas related to end user computing including Windows/Mac OS, Office O365, MDM / Intune and software packaging.
- Added advantage if possessed knowledge in endpoint compliance and security controls. Experience in implementing and managing end-point security products (McAfee, Microsoft Security suite).
- Strong analytical skill with proven ability to work well in a challenging technical environment, multitask whilst delivering high quality solutions.
- Strong attention to details and highly motivated
- Experience-centric and able to communicate concisely and clearly with non-IT-savvy users
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill with proven ability to work well in a technically challenging and multitasking environment.
- Possess creativity, ingenuity, and willingness to challenge status quo. A team oriented and team player with collaboration skills.
- Skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Jamf Certified Technician).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
