As a Sales Intern in Global Markets Institutional Sales, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that drives the bank’s trading and risk management capabilities. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of financial markets and products, and contribute to the growth of the bank’s institutional sales business.

How you succeed

To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a quick learner, able to adapt to changing priorities, and have a strong analytical mindset. You’ll work closely with senior sales professionals to learn about Global Markets structured products, and develop your skills in preparing product pitchbooks and reports. Your ability to communicate complex financial concepts to clients and stakeholders will be crucial in driving results.

What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Product Knowledge: learn about Global Markets structured products across different asset classes from senior sales professionals

• Product Pitchbooks: increase your knowledge of structured products through preparation of product pitchbooks

• Automation Project: automate term sheets and pricing supplements using Excel VBA

• Reporting: prepare periodic reports including staff training records, trade volume data, and biweekly/monthly reports

• Client Materials: assist in preparing PowerPoint materials on Financial Products and Market Opportunities for Institutional Clients

• Data Extraction: assist in data extraction and contents preparation for management meetings and other ad-hoc meetings

• Event Organisation: assist in organising client events, internal work lunch sessions, and regional conference calls

Who you are

• Interest in financial markets and products

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially VBA programming via Excel

• Experience with Bloomberg is an advantage

• Self-motivated individual who can work in a team environment

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate in a relevant field (e.g. finance, economics, business)
