As a Trading Intern in Global Markets eFX Trading, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that drives the bank’s trading and risk management capabilities. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical and analytical skills and contribute to the growth of the bank’s eFX trading business.
How you succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a quick learner, able to adapt to changing priorities, and have a strong analytical mindset. You’ll work closely with the eFX Trading team to review operational processes, develop and backtest Foreign Exchangevhedging algorithms, and assist with BAU systems monitoring. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be crucial in driving results.
What you do
Your responsibilities will include:
• Process Optimization: help the team review operational processes for optimizations and automation
• Algorithm Development: assist with Foreign Exchange hedging algorithm development and backtesting
• Systems Monitoring: assist with BAU systems monitoring to ensure smooth operations
• Trade Flow Analysis: run eFX trade flow analysis reports to inform business decisions
• eCommerce Projects: actively participate in eCommerce projects to drive business growth

Who you are
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, finance)
• Programming skills in Python, R, or any variant of C
• Good grasp of statistics and analytical mindset
• Strong communication skills, with ability to excel at written documentation and verbal presentation
• Comfortable with managing multiple work streams independently
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams
