As a Trading Intern in Global Markets Equities, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that drives the bank’s trading and risk management capabilities. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical and analytical skills and contribute to the growth of the bank’s equities trading business.
How you succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a quick learner, able to adapt to changing priorities, and have a strong analytical mindset. You’ll work closely with the Equities Trading Desk to learn and assist in various BAU processes and contribute to projects that enhance and automate daily operations. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be crucial in driving results.
What you do
Your responsibilities will include:
• Strategy Exposure: gain exposure to various strategies used by the Equities Trading Desk to generate P&L
• Desk Exposure: gain a holistic understanding of the Global Treasury by working with other desks (e.g. sales, trading, management support units)
• BAU Process Assistance: learn and assist in various BAU processes of the Equities Trading Desk
• Process Enhancement: work on enhancing and automating daily BAU processes
• Model Automation: automate financial models and research reports to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Trading Strategy Development: design viable trading strategies to support business growth
• Data Visualization: work on data visualization projects to assist in making trading decisions

Who you are
• Currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, finance)
• Proficient in Visual Basic Application and Python, with knowledge of C#, statistics, and data analysis an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams
