As a Business Development Manager, you will drive business growth by identifying client needs, shaping tailored solutions, and supporting the sales cycle from initial pitch through contract closure. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of IT infrastructure services and pre-sales consulting experience, with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders and technical teams alike.

 

What will you do?

  • Responsible for commercial sector business growth in the direct and indirect selling motions across all industry vertical
  • Leverages market research, business intelligence and develops actionable insights to drive the growth agenda in commercial sector
  • Develop differentiated business models to capture opportunities across all segments (global accounts & Commercial & PS, SMB, quasi-government organizations)
  • Develop and lead key initiatives and provides thought leadership for initiatives or directions that significantly change the business mix to profitable portfolios and/or selling motions
  • Successful implementation of business plans and programs
  • Responsible for operational success, strategic alignment and integration of activities with country organizational functions
  • Assesses the market needs, position and promote the portfolio suitable for the account and market segments
  • Identifies opportunities and growth areas, define and execute country specific strategies to grow the commercial market through upsell and cross sell activities
  • Creates the market demand through external and internal marketing programs
  • Create & drive growth programs in the commercial segment
  • Work with internal delivery team to implement pricing and discount management framework by specific service platform and offering
  • Working with Solution Manager & specialists to propose relevant and cost effective ICT solutions for corporate customers, covering local & international services
  • Drive data based country pricing actions through in-depth analysis of competitive pricing strategies through market studies
  • Responsible for business growth with right price and promotions
  • Be the industry specific solution SME with an ability to articulate the NCS commercial portfolio in relation to an industry specific solution need
  • Educates account teams about service portfolio to increase their understanding and appreciation of its contribution to overall client account retention and NCS profitability
  • Conduct frequent sales trainings and portfolio awareness programs with help of delivery team
  • Work with closely with partners to leverage partners’ strength and capabilities to complement our service offerings and GTM
  • The role requires you to coordinate and work with multiple NCS internal organizations. Hence to succeed in this role, you need to identify and map the key stakeholders you need to partner with and ensure you continuously develop these relationships with the key stakeholders

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 7–12 years of experience in business development or pre-sales in IT Infrastructure / Managed Services domain.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Services Industry inclusive of 3 years and above in developing new business opportunities with clients, preferably with the CxO level
  • Strong Managed Services background with good understanding of AIOps, Cloud Ops, Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), data center ops, ITSM, NOC/SOC, and endpoint management.
  • Role requires good knowledge in ITSM, Service and Cloud Management frameworks and tools.
  • Strong bid management skills in managing mage or complex deals.
  • Require strong communication & presentation skills.
  • Have a well-developed relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and contractual terms related to IT services.
