Make an Impact by:
- Planning and project management of new Communications Service Gateway (CSG) to support Enterprise Product’s CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) platform. This includes the planning and implementation of new technology, capacity, service rollout and service performance improvement, etc.
- Work closely with stakeholders in Product Development, Marketing and Engineering to establish the requirements to support new services and lead in discussions on new emerging technologies.
- Perform technical and financial feasibility studies on potential new CPaaS services and solutions.
- Responsible to lead in tender preparation, technical & commercial evaluation, negotiations and procurement of CPaaS services and solutions.
- Plan the near- and long-term network architecture and capacity needs.
- Coordinate with various Networks teams to support business initiatives, work with Operations teams to resolve customers’ complaints.
- Engage regional counterparts to identify and realise cost and operational synergies.
- Manage vendor(s) during the project implementation.
- Engage in commercial and technical negotiation with vendors.
- Regular updates to Management on projects status.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisors.
Skills for Success:
- Degree in Engineering majoring in Computer Science, IP networking, Telecommunications, or Information Technology.
- Knowledge of telecommunications technologies such as LTE, 5G, IMS, SS7, MAP, Diameter, SIP protocols.
- Knowledge in mobile value-added services such as mobile charging solutions including postpaid and prepaid, short-messaging service, mobile applications is an advantage.
- Leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Basic financial knowledge of project procurement, including capital and operational expenditures.
- Basic understanding of legal contracts, procurement and financial capabilities in managing capital and operational expenditures.
