POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, the Marketing and Communication Executive plays a key role in driving the strategic planning and execution of integrated public relations and marketing communication strategies to increase market share and build brand equity of hotel, spa and F&B. 

  • Lead the creation of engaging social media content for platforms on hotel social media channel including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, maintaining a robust content calendar that drives engagement and follower growth.
  • Conduct competitor and market research, applying insights to marketing and social campaigns and sharing findings with the team.
  • Manage public relations efforts, including the creation and distribution of press releases, media outreach, and coordination of media events.
  • Manage and coordinate video and photo shoots for the hotel, ensuring the multimedia library is up-to-date and relevant.
  • Manage media hosting opportunities and oversee the preparation of all press materials, including press releases, statements, and media FAQs
  • Prepare comprehensive marketing communications reports and oversee other administrative functions as required
  • Work closely with restaurant outlet managers to develop marketing and communications activities
  • Passion for the Hotel and Food & Beverage business to develop a career in hospitality

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
