BOS Trustee Limited is the trust company owned by the Bank of Singapore Limited. Headquartered in Singapore and regulated by MAS. The company provides trust administration services. The incumbent will support the business in trust administration activities. A team player to join and support the trust company in administration of trust mandates.

Main duties

Assist the trust company in client account administration maintenance matters for the trusts such as

  • Preparing trust related documentation as required, e.g. trustee minutes, director’s resolutions, internal checklists and forms. During the lifecycle of the trust structure, changes to the trust relevant parties would occur, e.g. change/addition/removal of beneficiaries, appointment of limited power of attorney, protectors. Associated documentation to be prepared and executed to process the updates and changes.
  • Where required, carry out name screening in accordance with bank standards. Conduct assessment on potential hits, follow compliance guidance and procedures
  • Processing of the bank account opening documents/update forms, liaise with bank/insurance counterparties as necessary
  • Updating of authorised signatories of bank account(s) / insurance policies
  • Updating of records in trust system
  • Upkeeping good accurate records/trackers of trust information (e.g. trust relevant parties) as well as trusts and/or company activities
  • Complete the internal checklists, and assessment for trust relationship manager and team head sign-off
  • Interact with front office/wealth advisory/stakeholders to obtain document
  • Handle and co-ordinate ad hoc projects as required by business needs. Maintaining relevant spreadsheets to track and record progress as necessary.
  • Assist the trust company with filing and records management, archiving, office general matters e.g. directing telephone calls and filing/mail activities as required (e.g. bank statements, account records, client documentation, seal maintenance, maintenance/review of mailboxes).
  • Act in accordance with core values (Lasting Value, Integrity, Forward-looking, Respect, Responsibility) of the organization, and demonstrate the highest standards of business and personal conduct

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma holders
  • 1-3 years working experience preferred
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office, in particular Microsoft Excel
  • Team player
  • Meticulous and have an eye for details
