To pursue its ambition to become a data-driven company, BOS is looking to empower each users of the organization with self-service reporting capabilities. As part of this data transformation, BOS has set-up an Hub & Spoke Organization: Data Hub is a central team managing the tools, governance, methodology and knowledge sharing among the various business Data Spoke from all departments (CIO, Finance, Risk, Compliance, HR, Marketing).

Key Responsibilities

Data Science & Analytics

  • Develop predictive models for client behaviour, investment preferences, and portfolio performance.

  • Create personalized analytics and reporting tools to support relationship managers and advisors.

  • Design and implement machine learning models for forecasting, anomaly detection, and classification.

Quantitative Development

  • Build and maintain financial models for portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk-adjusted returns.

  • Develop and maintain high-performance codebases in Python, C++, or Java for real-time financial applications.

  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers to translate research prototypes into production-ready systems.

Software Engineering

  • Design and deploy scalable data pipelines and model APIs using Python and cloud-native technologies.

  • Integrate models with internal platforms and client-facing applications.

  • Ensure code quality, testing, and documentation for production-grade systems.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in data science, quantitative analysis, or software development in a financial context.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Python and one or more of: C++, Java, or Scala.

  • Strong understanding of statistical modelling, time-series analysis, and machine learning algorithms.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with financial instruments, market data, and trading systems is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience with scientific and quantitative libraries in Python. Experience with Cython.

  • Knowledge of financial instruments, regulations and compliance standards.
