Make an Impact by:
- Drive and plan for the IP Centrex/NGN/IMS/Interconnect/vIMS Network.
- Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to manage the above-said platforms.
- To manage the Level ‘6’ Numbering Plan for the Fixed Voice network.
- Subject matter expert for PhoneNet/Home Digital Voice/DEL /ISDN2/ISDN30/BizVoice/SIP Trunk/Mobile Voice Recording voice related services and provide timely advice and technical support to the pre-sales team/customers/Product Managers/Customer Solutions.
- Issue work instructions to the various internal team to execute job activities in the live production network.
- Gather and evaluate the requirements from the various functional entities and formulates the technical specifications and solution.
- Manage the lifecycle of the network and refresh equipment at appropriate times to prevent network failures.
- Manage system capacity to ensure that the network performance meets the Service Level Agreements offered to customers.
- Evaluation of new products and technologies for new services rollout.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and constantly upgrade and improve the network and services that is offered to customers.
- Manage equipment vendors, purchase equipment through tendering process and administer supplier’s contract.
- Work with Operations team and Vendors to implement, commission, and managed the systems at all times.
- Lead the team and drive the service migration activities across different platforms inclusive of night jobs
Skills for Success:
- Degree in Engineering majoring in Computer Science, IP networking or telecommunications/mobile communication.
- Working experience in computer networking or the telecommunications industry, especially in the role of Project Coordinator/Project Manager.
- Knowledge in TCP/IP networking (include DNS / DHCP),SIP protocol, Linux knowledge and ISDN signalling
- Knowledge in Linux Scripting, Python Programming, Pandas and Web-scraping
