How you succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll need to be proactive and responsive, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with our employees to understand their technical needs, resolve issues efficiently, and provide training and support to enhance their technical skills. Your ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner will be key to your success.

What you do

  • Part of Technical Command Centre (TCC) to support Base24 and ATM systems, working in 2 dayshifts roster.

  • Perform trend analysis and capacity management.

  • Perform troubleshooting and case investigation due to EMS alerts or lodged by users with a good root cause analysis.

  • Identify initiatives and recurring problems for optimizing and prevention enhancement.

  • Perform bug fixes or apply hotfixes from ATM vendor with proper test management cycle.

  • Perform recovery up to the point of service restoration.

  • Perform HA and DR exercise.

  • Manage audit and regulatory requirements.

  • Respond to and resolve technical issues reported by employees via phone, email, or in-person

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and escalate complex issues to senior technical teams

  • Provide training and support to employees on new systems and technologies

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to implement new technologies and resolve technical issues

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information technology with 4-6 years’ work experience in banking environment, supporting Base24 & ATM application systems

  • Technically competent in HP NonStop platform and excellent in TAL & COBOL programming language.

  • Must have domain knowledge in Base24 Application Classic (Rel 5 & 6).

  • Exposure to open system applications like Base24-eps, Live EJ, Software Distribution (SCCM), Diebold Nixdorf Host Application (Transaction Middleware) & NCR Host Application (Transact-X) will be an added advantage.
