What you do

Design and build tools to enforce OCBC’s data governance policies.

Collaborate with data stewards and technical teams to define metadata standards.

Develop automated solutions to monitor data quality and integrity.

Implement and manage data catalogues and metadata tools.

Analyse vulnerability reports and define remediation steps.

Enhance data governance frameworks using platforms like Ab Initio Metadata Hub.

Utilise DevOps tools like Jira, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines.

Create documentation and deliver high-quality code.
Who you are
-
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field – or have equivalent experience.

You have 3-5 years’ experience in Data Governance and Metadata Management.

You possess strong technical skills in data engineering and database environments.

You are comfortable working with DevOps tools and processes.

You are analytical, systematic, and organized in your approach.

You communicate effectively and collaborate readily with others.

You are resilient and take ownership of challenging assignments.
Who you work with
Group Engineering focuses on delivering innovative and scalable technology solutions to drive OCBC’s digital transformation. We build and manage the core technology infrastructure that supports all aspects of the bank’s operations. This role sits within the Enterprise Data team, collaborating closely with data stewards, business stakeholders, and fellow engineers to build and maintain a robust data governance framework.
