Make an Impact by:
Mobile Postpaid Marketing
1. Overall revenue responsibility across postpaid price plan financials profitability, positioning and competitiveness as well drive roaming portfolio revenue and profitability.
2. Lead key AOP initiatives on postpaid – new plans (network led differentiation, eSIM, security as a value proposition etc.)
3. Closely monitor market trends, consumer behaviors, and technological developments which open up new business opportunities, in order to conceptualize and develop products needed to deliver the revenue on schedule and within the desired cost target
4. Ensure that the product and service offerings will result in the best customer experience in terms of simplicity and ease of use. Segments served include both corporate customers and residential consumers
5. Build robust relationships with external and internal stakeholders, such as Developers/Vendors, Marketing, Sales, Customer Care, IS, and Network, to ensure strong teamwork in smooth project execution and delivery
6. Ensure the team is highly engaged with the desired engagement score. Provide constructive and timely feedback, set clear direction and targets, and constantly motivate the team to achieve higher performance.
7. Deliver against revenue, margin and market share targets. Formulating strategic and operational marketing strategies and plans to deliver the revenue and profit targets. Revise and update the plans as required in tandem with changing business focus and requirements.
Hardware Marketing
1. Responsible for driving hardware revenues and attachment, including IPP, devise plans and manage subsidy budget.
2. Responsible for strategizing and architecting marketing program for launch of new devices and accessories
3. Drive strategic direction on the hardware business with the Hardware sourcing teams around hardware portfolio,
4. Engage and negotiate with key handset vendors to shape device roadmaps and manage rebates
5. Work closely with hardware sourcing team to on quarterly vendor review sessions
6. Lead the budgeting & forecasting process with Finance, and regularly review & update drivers and initiatives to meet set revenue target
People Plan and Talent Development for Next Gen leaders
1. Build engagement in teams and accelerate development of next gen leaders
2. Ensure the team is highly engaged with the desired engagement score.
Skills for Success:
1. A seasoned executive with more than 12 years’ experience in leading the transformation and executing digitalization across a digital consumer business.
2. Proven track record for delivering challenging financial and operational targets.
3. Strong commercial/strategic understanding of the consumer market including ability to review complex business case models.
4. Complex problem-solving skills and ability to deal with ambiguity
5. Strategic planning and execution
6. Proven project management and delivery skills in high-impact transformation projects.
7. Strong leadership skills and stakeholder management experience across the larger organization
8. Strong ability to influence external parties, such as ecosystem partners and channel partners.
9. Adaptive and flexible, able to perform well in unstructured or ambiguous situations, and adapt as business evolves.
10. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take bold decisions/ appetite for risk.
