Make an Impact by:
Policy & Standards
- Support the Supervisor in developing, communicating, and maintaining cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines in alignment with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure cybersecurity requirements are practical, implementable, and effectively communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
- Incorporate all applicable regulated requirements, including the IMDA Telecommunication Cybersecurity Code of Practice (TCS), into Networks’ cybersecurity policies and standards.
- Collaborate with various Singtel Singapore teams to ensure the consistent and effective implementation of Singtel Singapore’s cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines across all network environments and systems.
- Contribute to the periodic review and enhancement of policies and standards to reflect emerging threats, technologies, and compliance obligations.
Cybersecurity Awareness
- Support Supervisor in the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive Cybersecurity Awareness Program for Networks.
- Ensure the program effectively reaches all staff and management levels, delivering clear, relevant, and impactful messages that promote a strong cybersecurity culture.
- Support understanding across Business Units of their roles and responsibilities in meeting organisational and regulatory cybersecurity requirements.
- Continuously assess and enhance the effectiveness of awareness initiatives based on feedback, emerging threats, and evolving compliance obligations.
Singtel Singapore Cybersecurity Governance
- Support the Supervisor in collaborating with Singtel Singapore teams to ensure an effective balance between operational agility, service performance, and the management of cybersecurity risks.
- Promote adherence to established governance frameworks, ensuring that security considerations are integrated into business and operational decision-making.
- Demonstrate professionalism and a proactive approach when engaging with internal clients and stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration in achieving security and business objectives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security governance practices to align with organisational goals and evolving regulatory requirements.
Singtel Singapore Cybersecurity Risk Management
- Assist the Supervisor in ensuring the effectiveness of the Cybersecurity Risk Management process across all in-scope systems, in alignment with Singtel’s risk management framework.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for the execution, documentation, and tracking of risk management activities.
- Ensure that risks identified through threat modelling and other assessment activities are properly evaluated, documented, and managed in accordance with established risk treatment and mitigation processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the risk management process by identifying gaps, recommending enhancements, and supporting the implementation of best practices.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement through process optimization and task automation to strengthen operational performance and reduce manual effort.
- Ensure all technical and role-related documentation remains accurate, comprehensive, and up to date.
- Develop or enhance technical documentation where gaps are identified to support knowledge sharing, operational consistency, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by proactively seeking innovative solutions and sharing lessons learned across the team.
Skills for Success:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other relevant field of study.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a security architect/network security architect.
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience developing information security policy, practices, standards, and guidelines.
- Minimum 1 years of practical experience developing and implementing awareness training programs.
- Minimum 1 years of practical experience in vendor security management.
- Experience working as part of an internal Audit, Governance and Compliance team.
- Advanced understanding in the following areas: Platform Security, Data Security, Network Security, Physical Security, Security Assessment Tools, Security Monitoring Tools.
- Advanced understanding in the following areas: Security Governance Standards, Business Continuity Planning, Enterprise Risk Management, Computer Security Incident Response, and Security Compliance Audits.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team member and independently with minimal supervision.
