Software Engineer (UI), AVP

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design and develop software applications, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Your ability to collaborate, innovate, and adapt to changing requirements will be key to your success.

What you do

  • Design, develop, and test software applications for wealth management and private banking using various programming languages and technologies.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.

  • Implement reusable components and front-end architecture for scalability.

  • Ensure UI consistency, accessibility, and usability across platforms.

  • Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services.

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues promptly.

Who you are

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5–10 years of experience in front-end development, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.

  • Highly proficient in React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and other UI-related technologies; familiar with React testing libraries.

  • Skilled in RESTful API integration and asynchronous request handling.

  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Ansible.

  • Experienced in Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.

  • Advantageous (optional):

    • Understanding of Micro Frontends (MFE) frameworks such as Qiankun.

    • Knowledge of Material-UI or similar component libraries.

    • Experience with backend technologies (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, and databases) or as a Full-Stack Developer.

  • Enjoys tackling challenging problems and turning them into innovative, practical solutions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
