The Hardware AI Innovation Trainee will support Singtel’s AI-first transformation within the hardware business. The role focuses on applying AI, data analytics and automation to strengthen forecasting, pricing, competitive insights and operational efficiency for Singtel’s device portfolio.

  • Experience applying AI and analytics to real commercial hardware challenges.
  • Understanding of device lifecycle, trade-in programmes and pricing models.
  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Retail, Care and OEM partners.
  • Opportunity to build automation and analytics tools used by internal teams.

 

 

Make an Impact by

  • AI Modelling and Forecasting – Support the development of demand forecasting models and assortment optimisation for devices and accessories.
  • Market and Competitor Intelligence – Assist in AI-driven competitor price tracking, campaign summaries and sentiment analysis.
  • Pricing and Portfolio Analytics – Support dynamic pricing initiatives, scenario modelling and device performance diagnostics.
  • Backend Operations and Automation – Assist with automating pricing documentation, promotion governance, and building knowledge management tools.

 

 

Skills for Success

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic experience with Python, SQL or data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking and interest in smartphones, wearables and consumer electronics.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
