What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Market & Industry Analysis: Assist in conducting market and industry landscaping to identify strategic opportunities for the bank in the trade finance space.
  • Product Development Support: Support product initiatives, including process streamlining and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) projects, contributing to enhanced efficiency and innovation.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Collate data and reports for product performance tracking and business reviews, providing valuable insights into key metrics.
  • Competitive Benchmarking: Collate market information on industry benchmarking and market share analysis, informing strategic decisions.
  • Presentation Development: Build skills in preparing executive-level presentation materials and communicating complex ideas clearly.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Contribute to ad-hoc assignments, gaining exposure to a wide range of trade finance initiatives.

The Trade Product team within Global Trade Finance is dedicated to developing innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You’ll work alongside experienced product managers, analysts, and technologists in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with a focus on data analytics and automation.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Eager to learn about product development and the trade finance industry.

Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

  • The ability to conduct market and industry landscaping to identify strategic opportunities for the bank.
  • An understanding of the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to implementation.
  • Skills in preparing executive-level presentation materials and communicating complex ideas clearly.
  • A deeper understanding of how banks create, pilot, and scale digital capabilities to solve real-world trade finance challenges.
