As a Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE), you will deliver and operationalise AI and software solutions within real customer and business environments. Working at the intersection of engineering, product, and business, you will translate requirements into production-ready systems that generate measurable impact.
You will embed closely with stakeholders to design, customise, deploy, and scale AI-driven applications, ensuring successful adoption and operational reliability. This role combines hands-on engineering with problem-solving in complex environments and is ideal for individuals who enjoy building solutions that directly influence business outcomes.
Make an Impact by:

Designing, building, and deploying end-to-end AI and software solutions, including backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and user interfaces to address real business needs.

Integrating AI models and applications with enterprise systems and operational workflows to enable seamless production adoption.

Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate requirements into scalable, production-ready technical solutions.

Rapidly developing proof-of-concepts (POCs) and prototypes to validate ideas, demonstrate value, and accelerate decision-making.

Applying modern AI engineering practices, including AI-assisted development and emerging tools, to improve development speed and solution quality.

Evaluating and experimenting with new AI technologies, frameworks, and approaches to enhance solution capabilities and deployment effectiveness.

Customising platforms, tools, and workflows to meet specific operational and environment requirements.

Troubleshooting technical issues related to integration, infrastructure, performance, and deployment environments.

Implementing security, access control, and governance requirements while monitoring system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Partnering with product, AI engineering, and solution architecture teams to identify reusable patterns, improve platform capabilities, and drive continuous innovation and adoption.
Skills for Success:
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, AI/ML, or related field.

Strong foundation in AI and programming, with eagerness to learn and apply emerging technologies such as agentic AI frameworks.
Technical Skills
-
Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Java or similar; full-stack development and production-quality coding.

Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, SDK integration, and enterprise system connectivity.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools.

Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, data pipelines, LLM integration, and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain).

Experience in rapid prototyping, proof-of-concept development, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis.
Good to Have

Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).

Familiarity with workflow automation and orchestration platforms (e.g., Airflow, Temporal, Camunda, UiPath).
