What you do

Strengthen privacy governance across the OCBC Group.

Analyse and interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical guidance.

Articulate complex regulatory issues clearly and produce well-structured written analysis.

Practice sound judgment and implement a pragmatic approach to risk management.

Advise on the Group’s compliance with relevant data protection laws across our key markets.

Act as a point of contact with data protection regulators.

Foster a data protection culture by delivering ongoing training.

Serve as the Group’s key decision maker in regulatory notifications.

Oversee data protection impact assessments and work with stakeholders to implement controls.

Develop data protection frameworks and policies
Who you are
-
Be intellectually curious, collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-evolving regulatory environment.

Have exposure to privacy governance frameworks, regulatory engagement or certification programmes would be an advantage.

Have at least 3 years of experience in data protection or privacy. Candidates with experience in internal or external audit, financial services, technology regulation or governance frameworks will be particularly well suited.

Have a good degree in law, accountancy or a related discipline.

Have a CIPM, CIPP or other relevant data protection certifications.
