The Finance Manager will support the financial management of Enterprise Services and Platform Segments. This role involves assisting in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This role requires an understanding of accounting standards and financial principles and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis.
Make an Impact by
- Financial Management: Assist in maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of financial information for Enterprise Services and Platform Segments, completing timely closing. Review and assist in maintaining the cost allocation matrix for the Enterprise Services (ES) and Platform departments to ensure alignment with the budget.
- Business Partnering: Support the ES and Platform departments in forecasting and budgeting exercises, ensuring alignment with company goals. Prepare Financial report and provide insights on performance on key performance areas. Assist to prepare and review Business Cases for Capex and Outsourcing.
- Planning and Analysis : Monitor and track performance against business cases, budgets, and forecasts. Liaise with business stakeholders and review to ensure reasonableness of forecast and budget.
- Compliance: Review of month-end journal entries and support on closing activities, complying with accounting standards. Provide guidance to ES and Platform departments on accounting related topics and ensure compliance with statutory reporting and audit requirements. In charge of maintaining some legal entity books, complying with statutory reporting requirements.
- Process Automation: Participate in cross functional and Corporate projects to improve efficiency and productivity.
Skills for Success
- A University degree in Accountancy with at least 4-8 years of relevant work experience.
- Meticulous, detail oriented, strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills;
- IT knowledge and experience in system implementations would be an advantage
- Forward looking, proactive and persevering in order to press ahead to introduce new tools and applications to bring about improvements to the Finance community, amidst competing demands for time and resources
- Ability to handle numerous time-critical assignments simultaneously with sense of urgency and ability to prioritise work;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Powerpoint, Word
