As a Macro Research Intern, you’ll be immersed in a dynamic environment where academic concepts meet real-world market realities. What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the team with data mining and monitoring the latest macroeconomic developments and news.
  • Conducting research and analysis on financial markets, economic trends, and relevant industry news.
  • Creating and maintaining financial models, charts, and presentations to support research findings.
  • Tracking key economic indicators and market trends.
  • Collaborating with the team on reports and presentations for clients and senior management.
  • Exploring opportunities to contribute to workflow automation using AI tools.

Who you are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.
  • Possess a strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and global affairs.
  • Demonstrate excellent research and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Programming skills are a plus.

Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

  • Practical experience in macroeconomic research and analysis.
  • Exposure to leading financial data platforms like Bloomberg, Eikon and CEIC.
