How you succeed
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our cybersecurity team as a Cyber Threat Intelligence analyst. In this role, you are responsible for identifying, analysing, and reporting on cyber threats that could impact the organisation. The role involves monitoring threat landscapes, collecting intelligence from internal and external sources, and transforming raw data into actionable insights for security teams and leadership. CTI Analysts assess adversary tactics, vulnerabilities, and emerging attack trends to inform proactive defense measures. They collaborate closely with various stakeholders to enhance preparedness, reduce exposure, and strengthen the organisation’s overall security posture.

What you do

  • Monitor cyber threat landscape across financial sector sources

  • Identify and assess emerging threats relevant to banking systems, customer channels, and third-party ecosystem

  • Perform threat analysis using structured methodologies (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain, Diamond Model)

  • Evaluate threat relevance, exploitability, and potential business impact to the bank

  • Produce and disseminate intelligence outputs including advisories, alerts, and executive summaries

  • Translate technical intelligence into clear and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Support threat hunting by developing TTP-based hypotheses

  • Collaborate with SOC, DFIR, and Threat Hunting teams to operationalise intelligence into detections

  • Provide intelligence support during security incidents, including threat actor analysis and TTP mapping

  • Monitor for data leakage, ransomware activity, and threat actor chatter related to the organisation

  • Conduct third-party cyber risk intelligence assessments and monitor vendor-related breaches

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence or a related field

  • Prior experience in financial institutions or regulated environments preferred

  • Strong understanding of network, endpoint, and cloud security concepts

  • Familiarity with SIEM tool and EDR platform

  • Experience using threat intelligence platforms is preferred

  • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and common attacker TTPs

  • Ability to analyse and correlate multiple intelligence sources to derive actionable insights

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to stakeholders

  • Experience in writing intelligence reports or advisories is preferred

  • Relevant certifications such as GCTI, GCIA, GCFA, GEIR, or CISSP

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
