As an AI Platform Network & Security Engineer, you will support the implementation and operations of secure, scalable connectivity for Singtel’s Central AI Platform. You will work across hybrid environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure resilient and secure AI platform operations.

Make an Impact by:

• Assist in configuring and maintaining network connectivity across IaaS, public cloud and on-prem environments for AIDA’s Central AI Platform.
• Support setup of VPNs, routing configurations, firewall rules and access control lists for Central AI Platform.
• Perform basic validation and connectivity testing for new AI workload integrations.
• Monitor network performance metrics (latency, bandwidth, availability) and support forecasting exercises by consolidating usage data.
• Support troubleshooting of connectivity or firewall-related incidents.
• Escalate issues appropriately and provide timely status updates.
• Work with Cybersecurity team to remediate vulnerabilities or configuration gaps.
• Maintain updated network diagrams, configuration records and standard operating procedures for AI platform.
• Contribute to automation or scripting initiatives for routine network tasks.
• Coordinate with cloud engineers, platform teams and application owners during onboarding of new AI use cases.

Skills for Success:

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in networking, cloud infrastructure or cybersecurity (internship experience acceptable).
• Open to fresh graduates with strong foundational networking knowledge.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnets, firewalls).
• Basic knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPC, subnets, security groups, peering).
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools (e.g., ping, traceroute, Wireshark).
• Awareness of cybersecurity fundamentals (encryption, access control, network segmentation).
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash or PowerShell) is advantageous.

Good to Have

• Network and cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CCNA, AWS/Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA Network+, Security+).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience with firewalls, VPN setup or system integration projects.
• Familiarity with AI workload connectivity and security (e.g., AI gateway, guardrails).

Soft Skills

• Strong learning agility and curiosity in cloud and cybersecurity domains.
• Structured problem-solving mindset.
• Attention to detail in configuration and documentation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to operate in a fast-evolving AI and multi-cloud environment.
