How you succeed

The AVP, Middleware TCC Support role is part of the Technology Command Center (TCC) and is responsible for providing L1/L2 operational support for middleware platforms supporting SOA and microservices-based applications. The role focuses on proactive monitoring, incident management, service stability, and continuous improvement of middleware operations across enterprise systems.

The incumbent will take end-to-end ownership of middleware incidents, work collaboratively with internal teams, and ensure service availability through early detection, root cause analysis, and effective remediation.

What you do

  • Proven experience in application support, incident handling, and user query resolution at L1/L2 levels; exposure to L3 development support is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of IT fundamentals and enterprise technology ecosystems.

  • Ability to work in shift-based, onsite support environments.

  • Demonstrated ownership mindset with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

  • High learning agility with the capacity to rapidly absorb, assess, and act on large volumes of information.

  • Positive attitude toward continuous learning and skill enhancement.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Certifications in SOA and other middleware products such as TIBCO will be added advantage.

  • Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes for container orchestration and platform operations.

  • Proficiency in Apache Kafka for event streaming and messaging, as well as IBM MQ.

  • 5–6 years of experience working with microservices architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Spring Cloud Gateway, and distributed systems.

  • Experience with Conjur or similar secrets management tools.

  • Familiarity with the TIBCO product suite (BW 5.x, BW plugins, API Exchange Gateway, Mashery, EMS, Administrator, Hawk) is an added advantage.

  • Solid understanding of High Availability (HA) architectures, including clustering, load balancing, failover management, security, logging, auditing, and TCP/IP networking.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Frameworks & Languages: Spring Boot, Java, Microservices, JPA, Spring Cloud Gateway.

  • Automation & DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Linux, Bitbucket.

  • Knowledge of: AI essentials, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, MQ.

  • Additional Experience: Tibco BW, SOA, and RESTful APIs.
