General Description

  • Trust Relationship Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of trusts and/or companies structures.

Main Duties

  • Responsible for managing client relationships for the structures under care.
  • Attend to clients’ matters promptly and provide solutions to clients’ queries
  • Responsible for daily administration of trust and/or companies, including but not limited to preparing letter of requests pertaining to account opening, insurance transfer/purchases, property transfer/purchases etc, revocation, termination, and preparing trust review packs for clients meeting, reviewing and/or revising of letter of wishes, appropriate trustee and company minutes and resolutions
  • Review and approve periodic reviews, investment review and transaction reports prepared for structures under care
  • Conduct trust review with clients and explore room for assets consolidation
  • Attend client meetings independently for structures under care or with team head for complex structures, where applicable.
  • Interact and liaise with private bankers, intermediaries and clients on trust and/or company matters
  • Participation in ad-hoc projects

Requirements

  • Min 5 – 8 years of trust relationship and administration handling experience

  • Familiar with local governing trust laws and regulations; and standard AML policies and requirements by Financial Institutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • This role involves regular communication with a mix of clients who speak Mandarin and hence requires handling of documents and email communication written in Chinese.

  • Proficiency in Cantonese is an advantage for engaging certain client segments, but it is not compulsory.

  • Able to work with little supervision, and has initiative to complete work independently

  • Manage clients’ expectations and suggest / provide solutions

  • Good time management and organizational skills.

  • Eye for details and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Team player

  • STEP or a WMI qualification preferred
