About the role
- As a PMO you are expected to visualize and manage the overall project workstream, including planning and overseeing tasks performed by yourself and other team members, and proactively driving project delivery in Global system implementation projects..
- Engage in effective and strategic communication with key project stakeholders to lead the smooth execution of the project.
- Oversee the overall project scope, plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure that company standards and client expectations are met, and to ensure the quality of end-to-end delivery.
- Lead the development of project plans, optimize the allocation and distribution of resources including team members, and drive overall project delivery
- Provide appropriate project status reporting and escalation to internal Senior Managers and Directors, and effectively facilitate and control decision-making processes.
- Lead the preparation of key deliverables such as steering committee materials and other critical reports for clients.
- (Optional) Provide guidance and mentoring to team members (Senior Associates / Associates) and contribute to improving overall team performance.
About you
- Proven work experience as a PMO or Project Manager, with a track record of leading end-to-end project delivery
- At Least 3 years of consulting experience in Finance Industry
- Preferably with experience in banking systems or operations
- Have handled big projects and has exposure handling global projects
- Demonstrated experience in leading effective communication and building relationships with diverse stakeholders, including clients and internal senior management, to drive alignment and consensus
- Experience in managing a team of 2 or more members
- Experience or involvement in proposal development and business development activities is a plus
- Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese to support effective communication with Japanese–speaking internal and external stakeholders
