Why Join
As an Infrastructure & Utilities sector coverage RM at OCBC, you will be responsible for a portfolio of large corporate customers in the Global Infrastructure & Utilities sector including but not limited to Power, Water and Waste management. You will play a pivotal role in enabling clients to achieve their growth and sustainability ambitions through innovative financing solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions, build strong relationships, and contribute to the bank’s mission of being a leading financial services partner for a sustainable future.
How you succeed
Success in this role requires a client‑centric and risk‑based mindset, with a strong understanding of clients’ business models, strategic objectives, and industry dynamics. You will proactively originate and deliver tailored banking solutions independently, underpinned by sound credit judgement and product knowledge.
You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders across geographies, requiring adaptability, resilience, and cultural awareness. A global outlook, proactive attitude, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment are essential. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and collaborative capabilities will be key enablers of success.
What you do
1. Managing a portfolio of Infrastructure & Utilities corporate clients, including relationship management, credit reviews, origination, and day‑to‑day portfolio administration.
2. Maintain regular and proactive client engagement to understand evolving business needs and originate new banking opportunities and cross-sell.
3. Closely collaborate with internal partners to develop and deliver wholistic solutions for our clients, including deposits, loans, capital market activities, treasury and trade finance.
4. Originate and execute a variety of financing structures, including corporate finance, project finance, acquisition finance, ECA financing, trade and supply chain finance. This will also include working with the internal and external parties on documentation negotiations, execution and implementation for drawdowns.
5. Support strategic initiatives such as market expansion studies, sector analysis, and development of sales strategies aligned with business targets.
6. Deliver exceptional client service, responding promptly and effectively to client queries and issues

At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering), with relevant professional experience in corporate banking or infrastructure‑related roles.

At least 7 – 10 years of experience in corporate banking preferably covering the energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors.

Strong technical skills, including financial modeling and analysis.

Well verse with cross-selling and banking products

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders

Proven ability to think strategically and work collaboratively across teams

Experience working in a global setting with clients and stakeholders from different countries.

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple transactions and priorities

Strong commercial acumen with a balanced approach to opportunity identification and risk management
