Be part of the team supporting Public Sector and Services clients across sectors such as Healthcare, Consumer, Professional Services, and the New Economy. As an intern within the Public Sector and Services team, you’ll gain exposure to how corporate banking solutions support organisations that play a vital role in the economy and society. This role offers hands-on learning in client coverage, market analysis, and business development, while building a strong foundation in corporate banking.

What you do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Portfolio & Client Support: support Relationship Managers in managing a portfolio of Public Sector and Services clients through portfolio and data analysis
- Business Development Research: assist in identifying potential new corporate customers by conducting market research and data analysis
- Financing Support: assist Relationship Managers in developing financing solutions by gathering relevant data and performing preliminary analysis to meet client requirements
- Market Intelligence & Insights: conduct market data analysis to provide actionable insights and support senior team members in decision‑making
- Presentation & Reporting: contribute to the preparation of research materials, reports, and internal presentations
Who you work with
You’ll be part of the Public Sector and Services team within Global Corporate Banking, working closely with Relationship Managers and internal product partners. The team collaborates across functions to deliver tailored banking solutions that support clients across public services, healthcare, education, professional services, and emerging industries.
Who you are
- An Undergraduate student with an interest in corporate banking, finance, or sector‑based coverage
- Keen to learn about corporate banking products and services, including bilateral loans, global markets, global transaction banking, loan syndication, debt capital markets, and M&A advisory transactions
- Interested in or exposed to sectors such as Public Sector, Healthcare, Education/Professional Services, and the New Economy
- Strong analytical skills with a foundational understanding of credit analysis and financial statement interpretation
- A clear communicator with good interpersonal skills who works well in a team environment
- Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and adaptable to a dynamic, fast‑paced setting
