The Satellite Controller will be part of a 24/7 operations team supporting satellite control and manoeuvre activities. This role involves monitoring satellite systems, supporting mission operations, and responding to operational anomalies.

Make an impact by

  • Provide 24/7 shift support for satellite manoeuvre operations.
  • Monitor the health and performance of satellite systems and subsystems throughout the mission lifecycle.
  • Support routine flight operations and assist in the investigation and resolution of anomalies.
  • Assist in ground segment operations and issue resolution.
  • Perform satellite tracking, telemetry monitoring, and control functions within the Satellite Control Centre.

Skills for success

  • Diploma in Satellite Communications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a recognised institution.
  • Candidates with relevant experience and demonstrated competencies will also be considered.
  • Basic knowledge of satellite communications and telemetry systems.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to respond to operational scenarios.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment.
