What you do (Test Environment core responsibilities)

  • Test Environment Management (monitoring, issue resolution) to ensure stability and availability.

  • Produce Test Environment daily monitoring report, environment status updates.

  • To ensure Test Environment operational stability across Network, Storage, Operating System (OS), Middleware, Database and Application tech-stack.

  • Perform monitoring & completion of Test Environment batch jobs, schedulers serve Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Macao Banking Systems.

  • Manage Test Environment incidents within SLA. Drive Test Environment problem management, including root cause analysis and prevention.

  • Manage change, downtime communication, and Test Environment readiness right after the activities completed.

  • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and governance documentation for Test Environment.

  • Uphold compliance with IT policies controls, audit, and regulatory standards.

  • Provide technical troubleshooting across integration, connectivity, and performance together with Application and Infrastructure Team to ensure Test Environment availability.

  • Act as escalation point for major incidents in Test Environment.

  • Exploring with minimum-viable-product (MVP) of AI-enabled initiatives in Test Environment: 1) Intelligent monitoring and predictive analytics 2) Automation and self-healing environments 4) AIOps correlation and root cause analysis 5) Test data optimization and right-sizing capacity management

Who you are

1) Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

2) Strong knowledge of banking systems and enterprise architecture

3) Understanding of Test Environment governance, masking, and audit controls.

4) 3+ years of experience in the following technology area:

  • Middleware: IBM MQ, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Apache.

  • Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL,

  • YugabyteDB.

  • OS: RHEL, AIX, Solaris, Microsoft Windows Server.

  • Proficiency in scripting/programming (Bash, Python, Java, etc.)

  • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Huawei, HMC/VIOS, CDOM/LDOM)

  • Tools: Control-M, cron, SOAP UI, APIs.

  • Familiarity with automation tools (BigFix, Aria).

  • Exposure to monitoring/dashboard/AIOps platform/tools (DXUIM, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, ELK, Moogsoft, Grafana, Splunk).​
