Top performers effectively assess complex high-risk clients, influence stakeholders, and balance compliance requirements with business objectives. The candidate is required to proactively identify emerging risks, enhance controls through robust governance and assurance, and foster a strong risk culture. Ultimately, success lies in helping the Bank manage financial crime risks while enabling sustainable and compliant business growth.
What you do

Own and maintain the Bank’s CDD procedures and Source of Wealth procedures, ensuring they are aligned with regulatory requirements and implemented

Advise on complex cases and assess risk appetite boundaries in a continually evolving regulatory and business environment

Work closely with stakeholders in the implementation of the Bank’s strategic solutions

Increase risk culture and awareness within the KYC community

Provide AML/KYC advice to stakeholders on the establishment of their procedures or frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and expectations

Who you are

VP role: Min. 7 years of relevant experience in AML, KYC, or compliance within private banking, with at least 4 years focused on onboarding or periodic reviews.

AVP role: Min. 4 years of relevant experience in AML, KYC, or compliance within private banking, with at least 2 years focused on onboarding or periodic reviews.

Proven experience in managing high-risk clients and complex structures, with a strong understanding of Singapore AML/CFT regulations and processes.

Demonstrated ability to engage with various stakeholders, including senior management and regulators.

Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Commercially astute with a proactive approach to risk management and compliance.

University degree or higher. Professional diplomas or certifications such as ACAMS or ICA are highly preferred.
